Our Statement of Funding Independence

Independence, diversity, and sustainability are critical to Connect Humanity fulfilling our role in efforts to achieve digital equity. We rely on the support of a diverse range of stakeholders. The majority of our support comes from foundations, with the rest coming from companies, individuals, and civil society organizations. To ensure independence and integrity, we accept support contingent upon the following non-negotiables:

• Connect Humanity does not accept funding that compromises relationships with stakeholders, partners, supported communities, or networks.
• Connect Humanity does not accept funding that compromises organizational independence,
  including funding that may influence programmatic or regional priorities, policy, or advocacy efforts.
• Connect Humanity does not accept funding that places communities, staff, stakeholders,
  partners, or mission at risk.
• Connect Humanity does not accept funding posing a risk to its reputation.
