Chauntiera Hills is an AmeriCorps Fellow participating in the American Connection Corps (ACC) program. She is currently serving at Connect Humanity, where she will dedicate the next year to bridging the digital divide and making a positive impact on the lives of others, as part of the Appalachia Digital Accelerator team.
Chauntiera earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Akron. Following her university studies, she gained valuable experience as an educator in South Korea, where she honed her communication skills while working with individuals from diverse backgrounds worldwide.
Her passion for service and desire to be a positive influence on the world led her to join AmeriCorps and be placed at Connect Humanity. Chauntiera now resides in NorthEast Ohio and has a soft spot for cats. She is also a firm believer that the proper name for a carbonated beverage is “pop.”
