Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis

Kenya serves as the Sr. Director of FP&A and Compliance at Connect Humanity. In this role, she supports all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and donor compliance.

Kenya is a mission-driven nonprofit leader with over 20 years of experience focused on back-office operational effectiveness, concentrating on the areas of financial management, grants management, procurement, contract management and funder compliance. She is passionate about providing exceptional operational support so that nonprofit organizations can effectively implement their programmatic missions. She has demonstrated experience working with global teams across Africa, South America, Europe, and the United States and specific expertise assisting nonprofit organizations with managing various U.S. government agency awards.

Most recently, Kenya ran a boutique consulting firm, RaeDash Enterprises, where she supported nonprofit organizations seeking to improve financial and grants management efficiencies and strengthen funder compliance. In this work, she enhanced operational processes, implemented financial and grants management systems, led global trainings, and implemented operational policies and procedures. Prior to RaeDash, Kenya held finance and compliance leadership positions with the Carter Center and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.  

Kenya holds an MBA in Finance from Clark Atlanta University, an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University and a Certificate in Organizational Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Stanford University. In her spare time she enjoys taking care of her very spoiled dog Dash, going to concerts, attending theatrical productions, and traveling the world. She resides in the metropolitan Atlanta area.
