Melissa (Missy) Boagey, CMP is the Indigenous Programs Manager at Connect Humanity.
Prior to Connect Humanity, Melissa was an independent consultant with Triforce Strategies and managed a variety of projects to include the Truist EPIC Grants and all logistical planning and arrangement for the Tribal Broadband Bootcamp.
Before Triforce Strategies, Melissa was the Director of Meetings and Conference for the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease where she spent 17 years. She planned and implemented logistics for The Liver Meeting® for 10,000 participants and oversaw the management of Digestive Disease Week®, stand-alone conferences, governing board meetings, committee and in-house meetings, registration, exhibits, affiliates events, satellite symposium, product theaters, and corporate support.
Melissa completed her CMP, Certified Meeting Professional, in 2006 and continues to expand her credentials by pursuing her DES, Digital Event Strategist, and PMP, Project Management Professionals, in the next year. She has a B.S in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management for The Pennsylvania State University.
Outside of work, Melissa enjoys travelling, exploring the world and new adventures with her family.
