We’re thrilled to announce that Connect Humanity has been awarded a grant from the Digital Equity and Opportunity Initiative (DEOI).

The grant will bolster our efforts to close the digital divide in South Texas by supporting the Rio Grande Valley Broadband Coalition, a collaborative effort working to bring affordable, reliable internet access to all families and businesses across the region.

This initiative represents a vital step towards addressing the digital divide in the Rio Grande Valley — which faces some of the lowest connectivity rates in the United States.

DEOI’s mission is to jumpstart the building of a lasting civic infrastructure. By investing in digital connectivity, the initiative is helping lay the foundations for accelerating social opportunity and prosperity in South Texas.
